Linda Howard provides Difvora, a Shopify app for organizing product specifications and displaying product comparisons.

Information we process

When a merchant installs Difvora, we process the store domain, store name, installation identity, access permissions and encrypted access credentials needed to provide the app. We store merchant-entered specification fields, product facts, comparison groups, publication history and billing entitlement status. Product data comes from the installing store through the permissions approved in Shopify.

Difvora does not request customer records or orders. The comparison theme block does not use visitor cookies, tracking pixels, local storage or a separate visitor data API. Shopify and your theme may process information under their own policies.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate merchants, keep each store's data separate, save and publish comparisons, verify app access and resolve service errors. Only reviewed, published specification data and sources marked public appear in storefront comparisons. Internal notes and access credentials are never included in public comparison data.

Service providers and billing

Difvora is configured for hosting on DigitalOcean in New York, United States. Shopify handles app installation and merchant subscription approval. Difvora does not collect payment card details or sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Workspace data is retained while the app is installed. A verified uninstall or store-erasure notification removes the store's workspace and stored sessions. Minimal hashed deletion and webhook receipts are retained for up to 90 days to prevent replay and accidental data restoration. Access to backups, if enabled, is restricted; erased stores must be removed before restoring a backup into service.

Your choices and contact

Merchants can edit or delete comparison data in the app and uninstall Difvora through Shopify. For access, correction or deletion requests, [email protected]. We verify that a request relates to the requesting store before acting.
